Posted 14 August - I'm not involved with your auto trader guy, or with 24O, so I can't comment on what happened there. What I can say, is that I have been using 24O for 11 months, and have never encountered an issue with their entry rates or expiry rates. On the few occasions where price "jumped" during one of my entries, price did in fact jump on my Metatrader, too, so it was legitimate.

Posted 15 August - Yeah my bet is there was a legitimate jump in price. I was going back on the forums they have and it looks like they fixed it though on the later pages.

Posted 18 August - I am not able to trade 24O anymore but when I did trade with them I did not notice anymore anomiles than with any other broker just like David and Keele said. I read that thread and what I got from it is that some people are not clear on if their account is set to Normal or underlying mode.

Your trading style is probably best to dictate the best setting because in normal mode you will get the messages about the market moving and the trade could not be placed but in Underlying mode your trade will just go through bounce or not. Now if you are trading contrarian and the bump pushes you up or down some then probably Underlying might apeal to you but if you are looking for a short term breakout bounce then underlying mode is prbably not for you because it will place you in after a good deal of the bounce is over.

I think if they are messing with clients account mode that is bad but I dont know from that thread. Also maybe 24O should be clear on the different modes and the pros and cons of each. Not to dismiss what Sunny reported above, but I have been trading with 24O for approaching 2 years and have found their pricing accuracy to be one of their greatest strengths. I have never seen a major discrepancy between them and my Metatrader. Often the price will move right at the last few seconds of a trade in favour, and without exception they have given it to me as an itm the same when it goes against me at the last second, it goes otm.

Those of us who have been with 24O for a long time have had our fair share of issues with them once I nearly closed my account because I was so irate , so by no means am I tooting their horn, but in terms of prices I have not seen any issues with it. A screen shot could have really come in handy here showing the price difference, and the degree with which it was off. David posted a notice on the BOD site about taking video or screen shots during trading last year, and that really can be helpful in cases like this.

Not just for helping to warn the community here, but also as proof if you want to confront your broker about their ill practises. The difference can be up to a pip or a bit more after that calculation, and whilst it will be relatively consistent, it's important to remember to take that difference into account when choosing your entry price, especially on short term options where often we win by such small amounts.

People who have legit complaints give details and hire lawyers. Scammers like to complain a lot when they have been caught out, with the only intent to divert attention from their wrongdoing and trying to pressure the affected target to give in to them while at the same time trying to inflict the most harm possible to the party they were trying to scam because they know that once they are caught with their pants down the chance for success has turned to nil.
